Give the Gift of Life
Every two seconds, someone in America needs blood. The Red Cross needs to collect about 13,000 blood donations, and more than 2,500 platelet donations every day to meet the needs of those receiving treatment for hospitalizations - this includes accident and burn victims, surgical candidates, and cancer patients. By hosting three to four drives per year, over 500 lives could potentially be saved!

Hickory Flat Church is proudly partnering with the American Red Cross to assist in the collection of blood and platelets from donors within our area. By partnering with the American Red Cross, we are building morale, creating opportunities to demonstrate leadership, building stronger ties to the people in our community, and most importantly, each donation saves up to three lives!
In addition to donor support, the Red Cross has requested volunteers from the church to help facilitate donor check-in.
