Weather Update from Pastor Dave 1.11.25

Dear Hickory Flat UMC Family,

​

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope this letter finds you well and staying warm during this chilly season.

​

Out of an abundance of caution and concern for everyone’s safety, we have made the decision to cancel in-person worship and all other church activities for this coming Sunday, January 12th. While it is always a joy to gather together in person, our priority is the health and well-being of our church family and community.

​

That being said, I invite you to join us for online worship at 10:00 AM this Sunday. We will gather virtually to worship, pray, and reflect on God’s word together. You can access the service through our website or social media platforms.

​

I also have a special surprise for you—you’ll want to stay tuned until the very end of the service for a special appearance by my new granddaughter, Aubrey. I can’t wait to share this joyful moment with you all.
